Some Career Tips
Date: 2012-12-6 13:49:44  Hits: 9517
For some, the most difficult aspect of looking for  a job or nurturing a career is motivation. They feel like they don’t have a good “enough” source of motivation, something that will empower them to pursue their career goals. For others, the most pressing career issue has something to with time management. They feel like they have been given too many things to do in so little time. They’re stressed out beyond reason. Some who have this problem just choose to slack off if only because they don’t know anything better.
Are you this person? How problematic are you in your current schedule? Have you already acquired too many to  count backlogs? Do you feel so stucked that you’d rather quit than try to solve these things out? Is your time problem that big?
You see, quitting is not an entirely bad option. But if your problem has just something to do with backlogs, then quitting is not the BEST option for you. What you need to discover are ways to make the most out of a given time. Here are some tips that can help you get back on track:
1) Keep a journal or a pocket calendar. Once you have this, you will realise how easy it is actually to prioritize tasks.
2) Take your breakfast. No breakfast usually results to a slow morning. What we’re all after is a productive morning, right?
3) No internet until you’re done with your task. There’s a reason why the internet has been named the number one work distraction nowadays. If you don’t need it, keep yourself from clicking Chrome or Internet Explorer until you’re done with what you need to do. If you need to research, go to the library and you’d do yourself a favor in terms of  number of tasks accomplished.
4) What’s your ultimate dream in life? Have it printed and then place this reminder on top of your desk, beside your laptop. This will definitely keep your motivation levels up the whole day.
5) Speaking of motivation, you can also surround yourself with portraits of your family and friends (people who are most important to you). Having such a reminder will definitely keep you motivated to face any kind of career difficulty!
6) Meet with friends. Perhaps, you’re acquiring backlogs because of you feel lonely. It’s about time that you meet with college friends again and unwind. You can’t just work and work. There has to be rest somewhere in between.
7) Talk to a life/career coach. Maybe you just need the epic advice of a career expert to get yourself going again.  Getting  a career coach may be expensive, but it is never an unworthy career investment. vYou WILL benefit from whatever you’ll get from the expert you’ve hired.
And there’s more! You want to share an effective way of keeping one’s concentration up? Feel free to write those thoughts away via the comments section below.
